  • Wow I watched your heart journey with Charlie and last year in 2016 I had a heart baby myself . So weird

  • I know I'm watching this video months after Charlie's surgery, but if prayers are retro-active I hope you feel mine! How could anyone think, you think, this is funny?!?! I just don't understand the mentality of some people… Carry on Amy, just as you are doing. Obviously it is working, because you have a VERY HEAVY LOAD, and you are getting through it like a CHAMP!! Sending happy positive thoughts and HUGS to you and Andy and your beautiful boys!

  • I'm really curious to know if they ever did an anatomy scan…and if so did they see any indication that this would happen?

  • Your family does what you all need to do. Keep your video logs going. It helps people you don't know. I don' t see a personal contact email to share my story with your family. There are so many people with such similar experiences. In my case T1 less than a year.

  • hope Charlie and henry get better

  • not that this is a good thing, but you will now be an endocronologist and a cardiac expert!  will be thinking of you and ur babies, praying for a great outcome.  PS I think that ur videos prove the opposite, that u r a great mom and love ur kids so so much!!

  • I commend you for your strength and ability to talk about these things in front of the camera for the world to see. It is important to keep it together, not only for Charlie, but for your family as well. You have a long road ahead of you. I send many hugs and good thoughts your way.

  • He is so cute. Praying for Charlie and the family. Cannot even imagine what you are going through. Expecting our first grandaughter in june.

  • I will be praying for your family! I can not imagine what you are going through. Lots of love!

  • How do they test his oxygen levels?  VBG (venous poke) or CBG (heal poke) or ?

Charlie looks cute.  I went to a baby shower today and my childhood best friend is naming her baby girl Charlie Mae.  I'm super excited.  Love that name even for a girl even though it is more uncommon.

Keep taking such great care of your boys.  You are doing a great job Amy.  I am always here for you to support you xxx

  • You are a beautiful, positive person – no need to explain yourself.  I had breast cancer a few years ago and I noticed that some people took offense if my attitude was anything other than somber and serious.  My feeling is that you have to enjoy every minute of life and laugh while you can.  When I went through treatment, things were hard, but my house was filled with fun and laughter (not at every moment, like those frightened lonely moments late at night, but as much as possible). It doesn't mean you aren't taking things seriously. You are making beautiful memories with your family because that is the point of life. Being distressed won't change the outcome. I think people are afraid to jinx things somehow

  • Amy, thank you so much for sharing with us. You are an amazing mom and inspiration to so many people. The baby is growing so fast…he is adorable.

  • My son spent almost a full month in the hospital after getting his tracheostomy and gastric feeding tube. Make sure you take time away from the hospital. It's so hard to leave, but honestly the hospital will drive you mad before you know it. I'll be praying for you guys, and I hope the NG tube comes out quick so he can go back to nursing. Oh and don't worry about what people think. As a special needs mom you learn to roll with the punches, and getting sad and depressed every day over something we have no control over isn't good for you or your babies. Keep doing what your doing.

  • Don't listen to those people, the obviously don't know how much of a great and caring mother you are! Henry, Evan and Little Charlie are cry lucky to have parents like you guys 🙂

  • He's looking so good, Amy!  Continuing to pray!  I thought of y'all as we spent last week at the cardiologist ourselves.  My son ended up being fine and it was just precautionary but I saw the little things in there for the babies and it reminded me of Charlie.  So, all that to say – our family is praying for yours!!

  • Huge hugs to you! You are a strong mama dealing gracefully with two babes with health issues. I admire you:)

  • CHarlie is the sweetest little guy! Of course you love all of your boys so much! This video kind of made me sad a bit only because I know how much you care about your kids and just want you to know how much i'm thinking of and praying for you all! Thanks for keeping this updated!   Take good care of you too! <3

  • You haven't come across as if you don't care. You've taken each day and taken care of your lovely family. Prayer continues, dear. Squeeze those boys!

  • Sweet little Charlie! You mentioned that you saw a lactation consultant, right? I wonder if another visit could help with the pain you're experiencing. Insurers are required to pay for lactation consultants now under the affordable care act, so you could check into that.

For what it's worth, I think it's ridiculous to assert that you're joking about all this. Me, I see an amazing strong mama who's doing the best she can under some very difficult circumstances. PRAYERS TO YOU, CHARLIE, AND THE WHOLE DREAMFLIGHT FAMILY.

  • I am curious, if it is painful to breast feed wouldn't it be better to pump and bottle feed?

  • I never see it as you thinking it's "funny," but more that you are upbeat and positive about the issues. There's nothing you can do about it, so you just have to take it as it comes- and that's what you're doing!

  • You are an amazing mama and I think that you're doing an amazing time taking it all in stride and grace!! You can tell how much you care about your boys and how well you stay on top of their medical issues!! Don't let comments like that get to you. Wishing you the best and lots of hugs & prayers!! He such a doll!!

  • How could someone doubt you! I am so sorry you were assaulted that way. You take amazing care of your children. Do your thing.
