  • I have afib. I will try putting cinnamon on some of my food and see what happens. I don't get it as often as I used to since I eat a plant based diet now.

My husband came down with a case of atrial flutter and the only thing we could come up with is that he had been working hard in 105° heat, came inside and drank copious amounts of iced water. We told our Marine friend and he said everyone in the Marine corps is told not to drink cold water but to drink room temp water, that iced water would shock the heart and cause heart problems. Don't drink cold water or any other drink when you are overheated! It could kill you. Now, why don't they teach you that in grade school? We are very careful now.
